5th International Conference in Artificial Economics
Valladolid (Spain), September 10-11, 2009
Agent-based Computational Economics (ACE) deals with the computational study of economies as complex adaptive systems, composed of interacting agents with cognitive skills. This area has provoked a great deal of academic interest in various fields of Economics, especially in relation to Complex Systems approaches.
The Conference is devoted to recent scientific advances in the field of Agent-Based Computational Economics, but it is also opened to methodological surveys.
Artificial Economics 2009 will be held September 10-11 th, 2009 in Valladolid (Spain).

CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGEMENT INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP
The past days 2 and 3 October 2008, INSISOC had the honor to organize, in collaboration with numerous sponsors, the first "Construction and Engineering Project Management International Workshop", under the name CEPMaW'08.
The theme of the conference was center in the area of Project Management (Project Management), an area of knowledge that has experienced a remarkable progress during the past two decades. The CEPMaW'08 was a unique forum in which practitioners, academics and researchers to exchange knowledge and experience building bridges between theory and practice of project management. During a day and a half, there was a discussion on methodological developments, new trends, as well as cases of success in project management in construction and engineering.
