5. Call for Papers
Publication
All accepted papers will be printed in the workshop proceedings. In addition, selected papers in the Workshop will be revised to be published in a main journal in the field. The preliminary schedule for the post-proceedings process is the following:
Second reviewing: 20th October, 2008
Revised camera-ready papers: 1st December, 2008
Submission
Researchers are invited to submit a short paper up to 6 pages. A PDF file containing the paper should be e-mailed to insisoc@gmail.com   by the 18th of April 2008. The paper must be in Springer LNCS format (see: Proceedings and Other Multiauthor Volumes - Using Microsoft Word http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html ) and final version of accepted papers should have at most 10 pages.
Acceptance Standards
All submissions will go through a peer review process, with two or three independent SC members reviewing each submission.  Only those deemed to be 1) relevant to the workshop's aims, 2) presenting original work, and 3) of good quality and clarity will be accepted.  Following the workshop, participants will be invited to revise and extend their papers for publication in a special issue of the journal Annals of Operations Research.
